Oh well, I have REXX installed and I probably run a small REXX program 2-3 times a year. The most advanced activity is a website maintained by FrontPage and purely in HTML - and SmartFTP. I'm just a 'dumb' end user with MS Office, MS Works and the browsers mentioned. Hi, I don't do any designing or programming or anything special. etc.Īlso everyones' systems are configured differently and that must be taken into consideration.Īnyway, that is part of troubleshooting:-) Using the Administrator account which gives permissions needed to Install the ActiveX Control and write to the Windows Registry, ActiveX Security Settings, Anti-Virus/Firewalls that can block the ActiveX Control, disabling apps that use Flash, etc. Getting those ducks in a row is not the easiest thing to accomplish. If all of the "ducks" are in a row, Flash Player is a piece of cake. Then Installing has certain procedures to follow. Yes, I know the user can decline these if they see them and are not concentrating on following the download and Install of Flash Player.Īgain Uninstalling has certain procedures to be done prior to actually doing that. These avoid the "extras" as the DLM (which causes problems) and the McAfee A/V & Google Toolbar. I have always favored the off line Installers along with the Uninstaller run from the Desktop as well and always recommend them. Hi, I've read the comments and suggested solutions here. OBSERVE ! -> I do mean the standalone installer, not the one that installs from a browser etc.

#Adobe flash player 10.1 installer for free#
I tried to call adobe systems for help, bad idea as they dont have telephone support for free software. I tried to download from difrerent places to see if there was a "working" installer somewhere, no install. I tried to change the visual appearence of my windows to try and see the buttons, no install. I tried to tab my way to a possible button, no install. I tried to deal with this in many ways, but I cant get the installer to actually install 10.1 To show you what I mean, I made a screenshot of it. I cant see the install buttons in the installer GUI.
